Our Industrial Ice Machines are used in many different industries. If you need large quantities of ice to cool your products, our Ice Machine is a good solution. By using Omega Pillow Plates, our machines remain relatively small and are easy to maintain.

How does an Ice Machine work?
At the top of the Ice Machine, water is pumped in that falls through small holes and slowly flows along the Omega Pillow Plates. The coolant in the Pillow Plates is cooled down till the water is frozen. If the ice on both sides of the plates is approximately 5 to 10 mm thick, hot gas is injected into the Pillow Plates, causing the plates to warm up and release the ice from the plates. The ice falls into a storage tank and breaks into small pieces. This ice can be transported by a transport screw to the desired location.

Depending on your requirements, Omega Ice Machines produce 1.000 to > 100.000 kg of ice a day.
Per Pillow Plate, 5 - 10 mm of ice can be frozen on both sides at a time.
Almost all coolants can be used with these types of Ice Machines, such as R717, Glycol, Alkali, CO2, R22, R134A and R404A.

The Ice Machine is made of stainless steel, such as 304, 316, SMO-254 and Duplex 2205. If you want a cooler made of a different material, please email one of our engineers.
